We have recieved the Haderslev Certificate 2025
At METRO THERM in Haderslev, we are proud to have received the Haderslev Certificate 2025. The Certificate recognises our work with social responsibility and inclusion – and serves as a reminder of the effort we make every day to ensure well-being and a positive working environment for our employees.
At our Haderslev site, our many employees come to work each day to produce stable and reliable ventilation and district heating solutions for people across Denmark – and they have been doing so since the 1970s.
Since then, we have worked hard to create the best possible working conditions. This includes continuously optimising and developing the way we work so that processes become more ergonomic and intuitive. And it includes implementing inclusive and socially responsible initiatives across recruitment, onboarding and retention.
It is this commitment that has now been recognised with the Haderslev Mark.

Part of our DNA
Inclusion and social responsibility have always been part of our DNA. For us, it is not about one-off activities, but about building a culture based on inclusive recruitment, supportive onboarding and motivating retention.
We actively work to give people from different backgrounds a genuine opportunity to become part of our workplace community, regardless of their starting point.
This can, for example, be through internships or other learning programmes, flexible solutions during the initial period, or by giving young people a chance to gain experience, responsibility and development in the labour market.
Retention through development
At the same time, it is important to us not only to attract new colleagues, but also to retain them through well-being and opportunities for professional development for many years to come.
We also place strong focus on preventing sickness absence and supporting colleagues on sick leave, so they can maintain their connection to the workplace and return successfully.
This requires planning, patience and close collaboration across the organisation – but we find it creates long-term value for both employees and the company.

What is the Haderslev Certificate?
The Haderslev Certificate is Haderslev Municipality’s recognition of companies that take on a special social responsibility.
The certificate is awarded to businesses that actively work with inclusion and help create a more inclusive labour market – for example by offering internships and apprenticeship placements, employing people in vulnerable situations, or making a dedicated effort to prevent sickness absence and retain employees.
The purpose is both to highlight the companies’ values and to inspire others to strengthen their social responsibility.
